Job Purpose

 

To lead and manage the APAC Fulfilment team, ensuring efficient delivery and management of inventory to guarantee on time and in full delivery and service excellence to all our customers.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Fulfilment team (processing and managing all customer sales orders) to ensure order accuracy and on time deliveries to all customers
  • Work closely with nominated 3PL’s ensuring all orders are communicated to the 3PL according to agreed schedule and lead times
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to assist in stock and demand management, aligning with third party warehouses
  • Maintain effective relationships with suppliers and third-party service providers, working with them to build capability, efficiency and reliability, measuring them versus KPI and service level agreements to ensure best practice is clear and adhered to
  • Ensure accurate product inventory stock levels on ERP system, aligning with third party warehouses and coordinate stock count in order to provide Finance with accurate monthly reconciliations
  • Work closely with Sales Team to understand customer requirements and product demands to ensure delivery service and levels are maintained
  • Co-ordinate with the wider business to successfully deliver timely and cost-effective product launches, product changes and product cycle ends
  • Identify opportunities to mitigate costs, do things more efficiently and anticipate any issues that may arise in the future, communicating these to the relevant stakeholders and working to implement them
  • Develop relationships with customers to gather forecasts and sales leads and understand where improvements can be made, always ensuring prompt query resolution to maintain customer service excellence.
  • Oversee the order process to ensure all orders are received acknowledged and processed same day, orders below MOQs are identified and rectified
  • Identify the most cost-effective distribution methods for new and existing business globally and ensure the correct paperwork and procedures are in place to deliver to final destination on time and in full
  • Reconcile all third-party service invoicing and identifying and resolving any discrepancies
  • Assist with any customer complaints, customer credits or invoices queries
  • Actively coach, develop and multi-skill members of the Fulfilment team, the wider business and supplier partners as required to maximise productivity and effectiveness
  • Ensure a high standard of conduct and leadership by being a role model and setting the example for others to follow. Flexible, with a can-do attitude, towards all aspects of the role

Knowledge and Skills

  • Experience of Microsoft Business Central preferred but not essential
  • Intermediate IT skills: Outlook, Excel, Word, Power point
  • Experience working with ERP systems (Navision/Business Central/SAP etc.)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good organisational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise workload, multitask and work to deadlines
  • Ability to work on own initiative and with multiple stakeholders
  • Flexible to take on extra and varied tasks when required
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive and quick thinking in solving problems
