They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and we couldn’t agree more – especially when pastries are involved. Multiple members of the team mentioned the Peach & Vanilla Pastry, which our Accounts Payable Assistant, Sara Ahmed, describes as “a warm hug in food form”, while the Apricot and Strawberry Pastries were described as striking the perfect balance of buttery indulgence and fruity freshness. And what’s a breakfast romance without the perfect match? Our fresh HPP juices received plenty of love as the ultimate morning companion.

No Valentine’s Day is complete without a little cheese – after all, every great rom-com needs its perfect pairing. From the rich embrace of Red Fox, a favourite of Nathalie Chalmers, our People Business Partner, to the unexpected yet delightful duo of Goat’s Cheese and Turkish Delight, which Alice Harvey, Brand Executive, thinks about daily, these flavours have stolen hearts across the board. But the real love affair? Cheese and pastry. Our Cheese Swisse, best enjoyed warm, was a favourite across multiple departments, proving that some relationships really are made to last.

Some foods just stay with you. Our Turkey Bacon Ciabatta has a dedicated fan club, while the Pretzel Roll has won the heart of Sinead Ferguson, Food Development Manager. Then there’s true, undying devotion – with Emma Crane, Supply Planning Manager, confessing, “I regularly think about those injected rolls from the bread showcase in October.” Now that’s love.
