Investing in Employee Well-being at En Route

At En Route, we understand that our team is at the heart of everything we do. That’s why we prioritise the well-being of our employees by offering a range of benefits that support both their physical and mental health. In line with World Mental Health Day, we want to highlight how we’re creating a workplace where health and well-being are a priority — ensuring our people feel supported, empowered, and ready to thrive.
Physical Health: Keeping Our Team Active and Energised

Taking care of our employees’ physical health is a key focus at En Route. We offer a variety of initiatives to help keep our team active, fit, and feeling their best:

Cycle to Work Scheme: We encourage our employees to get moving and enjoy the benefits of an active commute through our Cycle to Work Scheme. Not only is it a great way to stay fit, but it also aligns with our commitment to sustainability.

Snap Fitness Gym Discounts: Whether you’re a seasoned fitness enthusiast or just looking to get started, our partnership with Snap Fitness offers an impressive 50% off gym memberships, making it easier for our team to incorporate exercise into their routines.

Private Health Insurance: We take our employees’ health seriously. That’s why we provide private health insurance, giving our team access to high-quality healthcare and wellness support.

Mental Health: A Strong Network of Support

Mental well-being is just as important as physical health, and at En Route, we ensure our employees have access to the right support when they need it most:

Headspace: We provide free access to Headspace, a mindfulness app designed to help our team manage stress, anxiety, and depression. With a variety of meditation and relaxation tools, it supports our employees in maintaining their mental well-being every day.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP): We offer our employees confidential access to our EAP. This service provides emotional support, counselling, and guidance on work or personal issues, ensuring our team members always have someone to turn to.

Mental Health First Aiders: In addition to our EAP, we have several trained Mental Health First Aiders on hand. These dedicated team members are here to offer support, listen, and provide advice, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for everyone.

Work-Life Balance: Flexible working is part of our culture. With flexible hours and the opportunity to work from home, we give our employees the space to manage their careers and personal lives. We know that a healthy balance between work and life leads to happier, more engaged teams and we’re happy to empower our employees where we can.

Building a Culture of Well-being

At En Route, investing in our employees’ health isn’t just about offering benefits — it’s about building a supportive culture where well-being is central. We believe that when our team feel physically and mentally strong, they’re better able to deliver their best work, think creatively, and contribute to the success of our business.

This World Mental Health Day, we’re proud to reaffirm our commitment to the well-being of our team. By continuing to invest in both physical and mental health initiatives, we’re fostering a workplace where everyone feels valued, supported, and empowered to succeed.

Unwrapping the Christmas Design

For airline passengers, Christmas begins the moment they step onboard. But as Design, NPD and Supply Chain professionals know all too well, creating that festive experience starts much earlier – often as early as late spring, and at En Route, it is no different.

En Route Flies the Flag for Asia-Pacific at Onboard Hospitality Forum-Asia

Earlier this month we were exhibiting at the Onboard Hospitality Forum-Asia as part of the FTE APEX Expo in Singapore. As a regular at this event, it offered us a chance to connect with customers and suppliers from the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. Since returning, we have taken some time to reflect on the event, our presence there, and other key highlights.
